このファイル内でよく理解できなかった部分をコメントアウトして動作させてます。
def make_suggest():とdef send_ping():ですが、ping_commandについて参考になるお話が聞けたら幸いです。

"/usr/local/bin/blog-ping" で指し示している「blog-ping」は
http://tori.cocolog-nifty.com/ape/2004/03/blogping.html
で解説しているのと同じようなものなのでしょうか？
