JacaScriptとかにおいて、

switch(chr){

  case '>': yyy; break;

}

と、

const sDefault=new Symbol("default");
const commands=new Map([
  ['<', function(){xxx;}],
  ['>', function(){yyy;}],
  [sDefault, function(){zzz;}]
]);
commands.has(chr)?
  commands.get(chr)():
  commands.get(sDefault)();

ってどちらが読みやすくてメンテしやすそうなんだろう？それ以外に特徴とかあるのだろうか？
